They made suits and such by hand, artisanally. This coat is one of them. The size tag reads 40R, regular fit, made in England, hand-finished. The coat has a structured shoulder, notch lapels, flapped pockets, pick stitching, horn buttons, full canvas structure, hidden buttoning. The coat is in great condition. No holes or smell or rubbing. The sleeves have been shortened at some point. They are easy to let out with over 5 cm of fabric inside. The cloth is 100 % Woolmark-grade lambswool with a flannel surface. Thick, durable, warm, herringbone weave. Excat measurements: shoulder seam to seam 48 cm, neck seam to cuff end 62 cm, armpit to pit 57 cm, below neck to hem 103 cm. Similar Chester Barrie coats used to sell for around 1250 euros new.
