Description
I am selling these beautiful Oxfords after ca. 20 wears, as I have to accept that my feet need a wider last. What I absolutely loved is that the factory finish is already a high shine, so mirror-shining the captoe is easier than shoes with "normal" finish. I always use shoe trees and took good care of the shoes with moisturisers, polish and wax (Saphir). The German premium brand Dieter Kuckelkorn is only known to a "handful" of people due to their high prices. Besides their online shop, it is only found in selected shops with highe-priced collections or in the factory owned shop in Aachen. Description of the official website (model 7033 Duke Ellington, 479 EUR): The English "banker's shoe" by Dieter Kuckelkorn: timelessly elegant oxford with a straight toe cap for a stylish appearance. The Spanish cowhide upper, polished to a high gloss, is more robust and less demanding for care than the open-pored calf leather - neither stairs nor gas pedals can harm it in daily use. Leather frame and leather outsole are welted in English workmanship, i.e. 270° to the nailed heel. Last shape: Maximilan Material: Spanish cowhide leather (brushed) Lining: Calf leather (natural), fully lined until the toes Sole: Leather, rubber 1/2 heel Size: US 8 UK 7 EU 41 Made in Spain Shoe box and bag are included, shoe trees are not.
