They made suits and such by hand​,​ artisanally. This jacket is one of them. A rare model: how often does one see a purple velvet jacket? Truly something for rarefied evenings or cocktail events. New without tags​,​ an unsold store sample jacket. The only sign of use are the sleeves​,​ which have been lengthened at some point. There's a faint line at the end. The size tag reads 40R​,​ slim fit​,​ made in Italy​,​ hand-sewn throughout​,​ full canvas structure. The jacket has strong shoulder structure​,​ notch lapels​,​ flapped pockets​,​ horn buttons​,​ stripe lining​,​ a back vent​,​ and glorious pick stitching throughout. The cloth is 96 % cotton and 4 % elastane. Lovely and soft. Excat measurements: shoulder seam to seam 47 cm​,​ shoulder seam to cuff end 65 cm​,​ armpit to pit 53 cm​,​ below neck to hem 77 cm. Similar D'Avenza jackets used to sell for around 1450 euros new.
