They made suits and such by hand​,​ artisanally. This coat is one of them. A rare model: how often does one see a navy blue cashmere trench coat? I have recently dry-cleaned this coat​,​ so it's ready to serve for the years to come. The size tag reads 40R​,​ regular fit​,​ made in Italy​,​ hand-sewn throughout​,​ full canvas structure. The jacket has a unstructured shoulder​,​ wide lapels​,​ raglan shoulders​,​ hacking pockets with buttons​,​ epaulettes​,​ large buttons​,​ long hem​,​ herringbone lining​,​ a long back vent​,​ and a full belt. In excellent condition: no rips​,​ tears​,​ or holes. The only sign of wear is around the buttons and cuff ends where the nap has softened​,​ and the worn leather buckles. The buckles are easy to switch. The cloth is 100 % cashmere wool with a flannel surface. It's heavy and soft and exquisite. Excat measurements: shoulder seam to seam 47 cm​,​ shoulder seam to cuff end 66 cm​,​ armpit to pit 54 cm​,​ below neck to hem 114 cm. Similar D'Avenza coats used to sell for around 3400 euros new.
