Since 1897​,​ Filson has been making classic and very sturdy clothing for men who care. This Original Briefcase is one of their most popular bags​,​ made since 1994. Sadly​,​ the company seems to be making the bags in Romania these days. My model was made in the USA from higher grade materials. The leather parts are American bridle hide​,​ uppers are English waxed cotton canvas​,​ with cast brass metal parts. An artisan stitched a 3rd layer of leather on the shoulder strap for me. In excellent condition! No holes​,​ spots​,​ smells​,​ or rubbed parts. Length 40 cm​,​ height 27 cm​,​ depth 9 cm.
