Navy Turtleneck from a Swedish quality neckwear store under their own label Granqvist. This is one my favourite sweaters in my collection​,​ but sadly my arms are too long for 90% of sweaters in RTW​,​ including this one. What makes this sweater great you ask? Well tight roll neck area​,​ vintage modern fit. What do I mean by that? It has contemporary silhouette. Close to body without being too tight. It is not too long so it works with tailoring and also not too short to only work with high rise trousers. It can work with more formal and casual wear as the wool is right in the middle of elegant and rustic. So you can wear with jeans​,​ flannels or corduroy. Bear in mind the turtleneck is on the slimmer side of medium. The cut of the sweater is made like in vintage sweaters that it tapers down quite a bit which I personally really like as it helps the sweater to sit inside pants better or higher up if needed. Also in terms of weight it sits in the middle. Not as fine as John Smedley​,​ and not as heavy as heavy turtlenecks. It's made out of Zegna Baruffa 14gg merino wool from Italy and made in Italy (for example John Smedley fine is 30gauge). It does need dry clean as it has been collecting dust for two years in my wardrobe. Worn max 5 times. Has slight fussiness from close​,​ but that comes due to the nature of the wool.
