Selling a brand new without tags unworn tie by the famed American maker Brooks Brothers​,​ their ‘Makers and Merchants’ collection​,​ supposedly top line. The tie is indeed beautiful and feels substantial to the touch​,​ with very thick ribbing on the silk​,​ itself made in England according to the label. The base colour is full-bodied slightly darker red​,​ not bright red but not quite burgundy. The stripes are navy with silver. The design is classic American preppy​/​trad​/​Ivy and works perfect for the suit in a formal office​,​ or with a blazer​/​flannels combo. Handmade in the USA of 100% silk woven in England 3-fold construction with logo-lining in silk. 146cm length. 8.5cm width.
