Old England was, like Le Bon Marché, one of the most luxurious department stores in Paris from 1867 to 2012. Known for the quality of their products, from beautiful suits by the English Chester Barrie and the Neapolitan Sartoria Partenopea, to cashmere's rollneck/turtleneck by Pringle's of Scotland and Ballantyne, Old England was a temple of craftsmanship in France. Some considered Old England to be the Arnys of the right bank, since both were known for their reverence for english made products. The jacket I'm proposing is a classic navy blue 3 roll 2 sportcoat in cotton. Made in the 2000's by Raffaele Caruso (known for making the suits for countless brands, from Dior to Francesco Smalto), it is fully canvassed with a soft shoulder. A classic piece, it is the perfect jacket from spring to fall. You can't go wrong with a nice chino, a grey trousers or even some light corduroy. The sleeve-buttons are non-functioning, making it easier to alter the length of the sleeves if needed. Here are the measurements: Shoulder to shoulder: 42,5cm Chest (from pit to pit): 48,5cm Waist (at the button): 47cm Sleeve: 60cm Length: 79cm Lapels: 8,5cm For additional pictures or more informations, you can contact me by private message. Possible to try it in Paris 16th Arrondissement.
